Texas REPs are required to provide three plan-specific documents at enrollment: the Terms of Service Agreement, the Electricity Facts Label, and the Your Rights as a Customer disclosure. The current versions of each are available below.
The full contract between Abundance Energy and you for retail electricity service. Includes rate, contract length, fees, and conditions for renewal, switching, or cancellation. Plan-specific - review the version that matches your enrolled plan.
A standardized one-page summary of plan price, contract term, average pricing at 500 / 1,000 / 2,000 kWh, renewable content, and any monthly charges. Required by the PUCT in the same format from every Texas REP for easy comparison.
A plain-language summary of your rights as a Texas electricity customer under PUCT rules - including billing, disconnection protections, deposit limits, the right to dispute charges, and the right to switch providers.
Spanish-language versions of each required disclosure. Available on request and at enrollment for any customer who selects Spanish as their preferred language.
Already an Abundance Energy customer? Your enrolled plan's specific TOSA and EFL are available anytime in your customer portal. We'll also send you copies in print, free of charge, on request.

Most issues are resolved fastest by talking to us directly. If we can't resolve a concern together, the PUCT provides a formal, independent process at no cost to you.
Step 01
Call or email our customer service team. We'll investigate the issue, explain what happened, and propose a resolution. Most concerns can be handled in a single conversation.
Step 02
If the first contact doesn't resolve your issue, you can ask for a supervisor or formal company review. We'll respond in writing with our position and the reasoning behind it within 21 days.
Step 03
You can file a complaint with the PUCT's Customer Protection Division at any time. The PUCT investigates independently and can require us to take corrective action. Filing a complaint is free.
Texas requires REPs to support specific customer programs. If you qualify for any of the programs below, contact us - we'll help you enroll and explain how the protection works.
Customers whose health depends on uninterrupted electric service can be designated as Critical Care or Chronic Condition. Designation requires a physician's certification and provides additional disconnection protections under PUCT rules.
Certain commercial and industrial customers, like hospitals and emergency response facilities, can register for designations that prioritize their service during grid emergencies, in coordination with their TDSP and ERCOT.
If you're having difficulty paying a bill, particularly after extreme weather or a delayed bill, you can request a deferred payment plan. We'll work with you to spread the balance over time and prevent disconnection.
Average billing levels out seasonal swings by averaging your usage over a rolling period. This makes monthly bills more predictable, especially during summer cooling and winter heating peaks.
Texas administers assistance programs through community action agencies, including Comprehensive Energy Assistance and LIHEAP. Visit tdhca.state.tx.us or call 211 to find a local provider.
Every Texas customer with a smart meter has the right to view their own interval usage data and authorize sharing with third parties through smartmetertexas.com, the centralized portal operated independently of any retail provider.
Abundance Energy offers customer service, billing, and contract documents in English and Spanish. If we marketed to you in Spanish, we are required to serve you in Spanish under PUCT rules. We extend that commitment to every customer who prefers Spanish - regardless of how you enrolled.
